Seeking serenity, mapping the wild

Words are clumsy tools for the deep, but art brings the tide closer.  I want you to wander in the echoes of Fragonard and to mistake the soft and distant light for the stroke of a feather.  I want you to wonder where you are when you look at the wildness I have wrested from pigment into form.  It's okay to get lost sometimes.
